The word web pack includes 2 word webs with question cards for same/different, animal snap pictures (2 sets of 16 pictures) and word labels (there are 15 of these, 1 for each of the first 15 pages of the book.) This pack addresses Blank Levels 2 and 3 relating specifically to vocabulary development, and includes an A5 page of tips for using the resources

There are 16 story sequencing pictures, approximately A6 in size, relating in order to each of the pages in the book. Each picture has a sentence or 2 underneath. The pictures are used to sequence the events of the story and to retell it - as described in the Blank Levels 3 Narrative questions. They are also used to work on ‘Why?’ And ‘How do you know?’ Blank Level 4 Questions - as described in the accompanying packs.

There is a Colourful Semantics key card lotto to introduce the colour scheme for the following resources.

The ‘Why/Because’ pack includes a baseboard with a space for a story sequencing picture, the matching Why? question and answer, and the colourful semantics coded sentence strip answer. There are 16 of each resource. An A5 page of tips is included to support the use of these resources.

This is a comprehensive pack of activities using picture games and some colourful semantics resources to support your child’s understanding of questions typically asked by teachers to 5-6 year olds.

The activities use word webs to support vocabulary development, story sequencing to support narrative skills, and colourful semantics to support problem solving skills needed to answer Why? And How do you Know? Questions.
