The food items come with a piece of green felt to represent grass.
There are 2 soft toys with movable arms and legs for the big panda and rabbit, measuring 8cm and 11cm tall respectively, and 2 resin toys for the little panda and rabbit, measuring 3.5cm and 2.5cm respectively.
NB These toys are miniature and so care should be used with very young children or those who tend to put toys in their mouths.
All the toys fit into a clear rectangle box measuring approximately 22cm long x 10cm wide x 5cm high.
There are 3 lotto boards labelled as ‘Fruit’, ‘Vegetables’ and ‘Animals’. These are used for matching objects to pictures.
There are 48 photo instruction cards, showing each food item with each of the toy animals. These are used to help your child listen to and give instructions up to the 3 word level e.g. ‘Give the ORANGE to the BIG PANDA’.
Finally there is an A5 page of tips for using these resources with your child.
All the picture resources are laminated with non-reflective Matt plastic, and the lotto boards are backed with card. They fit into an A5 popper bag, and everything fits into an A4 zipper bag, labelled with a brown parcel tag.
These resources are designed for use with children with delayed language, children with autism and children learning English as an additional language.
