Sensory Stories
Each pack contains a set of story sequencing cards and a range of sensory objects and toys +/- the picture book. Motivating toys are chosen for tactile, auditory and visual appeal, and a few for their scent. These are combined with A5 size, card-backed Story Sequencing cards with a picture and words on 1 side, and tips for using the sensory resources on the other. These help non-verbal , minimally verbal, and difficult to engage children to follow a story. The sensory story packs have been devised from my own experience, in discussion with current Speech and Language Therapists, and using printed ideas and principles for sensory story creation.
